I had so much fun with Carrie & Marc on their wedding day at the Indiana State Museum, from their first look at the top of the INDIANA statue and photo time with the Bello Romance Photography team through their lovely ceremony setup courtesy of Wow Factors/Evans Audio Visual. The reception rocked as well with dinner service (and epic dessert spread) by Kahn’s Catering and music by Living Proof, while planner Jeanne Milan did a fantastic job overseeing all of the day’s details. Mazel Tov, Carrie & Marc!

Tracey & Travis’ epic wedding day at the Crowne Plaza at Historic Union Station was quite the day to remember. From preparations behind the scenes with Beauty by Crystal to a tearful first look on the Grand Hall mezzanine and photos with Jamie Sangar, the couple looked fabulous. The ceremony decor by Royal Creations was simply stunning, and I especially loved the way the parents were integrated into the wedding. The reception was a total blast, from the lively music by My Yellow Rickshaw through Tracey & Travis’ spontaneous decision to cancel the horse carriage and take their guests bar-hopping instead. Of course, it will be impossible for me to think of this day without being inspired by the way Jamie fought through an illness early to do an amazing job, what photographer Jessica Strickland went through to be able to eventually fill in for Jamie, and the positive, encouraging attitude that this incredible couple kept through it all. Clients and vendors like these are the very reason I love what I do!

A rainy weather forecast didn’t keep Kristy & John from enjoying a wonderful wedding & reception at Anderson Country Club. With the nuptials moved indoors, we squeezed in an impromptu rehearsal right on the banquet room dance floor before the guests arrived for a pre-ceremony cocktail hour. With the guests in place at their dinner tables, the ceremony was short & sweet, and only minutes later, the couple was re-introduced for the lively reception. Platinum DJ Productions was there to set the tone, and then Toy Factory brought it home with some funky live R&B to keep the crowd grooving on the dance floor. Special thanks to Kristy’s sister Nicki for the referral!
Nikki & Jon enjoyed a truly magical wedding and reception at the Sheraton at Keystone Crossing. I knew the second Nikki professed her love for all things Disney, Renaissance Fair, Game of Thrones, etc. that this was going to be one fun evening, and it did not disappoint. Circle City Designers did an amazing job creating one of the coolest aisles I’ve ever seen for the ceremony – think winter wonderland. The reception rocked as well, thanks to some old-school funk and R&B provided Blonde Entertainment band Toy Factory, and a lot of goofy fun was captured by Indy Photo Booths. The talented Turtle Pond Photography team was there shooting all the good times alongside me, and planner Leslie Jones (who referred Nikki & Jon to us) did her usual masterful job overseeing all of the event’s details.

Sometimes last-minute bookings are the most fun. Ashley & John had attended a wedding a weekend or two before their own and realized they wanted to preserve the memories of their big day on video. After a cute first-look and lovely ceremony at Plainfield Christian Church, they headed downtown for photos on Monument Circle with Sara & Mallary Photography.
The reception took place at the Conrad, whose ballroom was decked out in stunning fashion with orchids provided by Hilltop Orchids. The formalities were highlighted by a surprise “first dance” arranged for John’s parents, who were not able to enjoy a first dance at their own wedding nearly 40 years ago. The great band Living Proof (whose agent Lisa Sauce of Blonde Entertainment referred this event to us) took it from there, and the guests enjoyed singing into the clever “microphones” made from mixing spoons by one of the bridesmaids.
