Brooke & Alex’s wedding and reception at D’Amore Indianapolis was so much fun to film, starting with capturing the preparations alongside Ian Borgerhoff Photography (who along with D’Amore referred this event to us) at the Conrad Indianapolis and a first look in the Kite penthouse suite.  The ceremony was short and sweet, accompanied by one of the most breathtaking views in the state.  The reception featured amazing decor by Enflora, terrific dinner service by Thomas Caterers, cake by Taylor’s Bakery and live music by the First Impression Band, which had the crowd rocking well into the evening as coordinator Julie Doyle of D&G Signature Events oversaw every last detail of this special day.

I had too much fun for words at Brittany & Johnny’s wedding at Tabernacle Presbyterian Church & reception at the Omni Severin.  Having already filmed the weddings of both the bride AND groom‘s sisters, I felt comfortable the moment I walked into the bridal suite at the Omni as Crystal Haffner was putting the finishing touches on Brittany.  After a sweet first look for the couple on the ballroom balcony, we headed outside for some hot photos in the cold with Jessica Strickland before heading to the church for the beautiful ceremony.

The reception looked stunning with decor by The Empty Vase in the old Severin Lobby, and following dinner, all of the action moved into the Severin Ballroom as the First Impression Band played on through the night.  Leslie Jones did her usual wonderful job in planning the day, and it was fun to be reunited with her for another special day in the lives of these two great families.

Miranda & Sean’s wedding weekend was truly amazing from their uplifting ceremony at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church through their spectacular reception at the Scottish Rite Cathedral.  Coverage began with a rehearsal dinner at Mateo’s on the square in Noblesville.  The next day’s preparations started at the bride’s gorgeous family estate, highlighted by her father’s display of a $2 bill they had split when she was a child.  Following the beautiful ceremony, Miranda surprised the crowd with her bouquet toss before heading off with Sean in a classy Rolls Royce by Antique Limousines of Indy.

After some fun shots around downtown with photographer Jessica Strickland, we gathered at the Scottish Rite’s ballroom, which was magnificently transformed by Gene Huddleson (who referred Miranda & Sean to us) and his Detail+Design team, with help from Thomas Caterers of Distinction, Evans Audio-Visual, Pomp & Polish, Heavenly Sweets and others.  No one will forget the tearjerking reading of a lullaby poem by Miranda’s father, timed perfectly with a slideshow of her early years.  The First Impression Band and Grapevine Entertainment rocked the remainder of the evening, with a surprise explosion of streamers punctuating a perfect weekend.

Liz & Matt enjoyed a beautiful, deeply spiritual ceremony at Second Presbyterian Church, followed by a rousing reception at Meridian Hills Country Club.  Photographer Brian McGuckin staged some cool shots prior to the ceremony, including a sweet moment where the couple got to hold hands without seeing each other.  The ceremony looked fabulous with Royal Creations‘ flowers dotting the aisle.  Following a nice cocktail hour outside at the club, everyone headed into the ballroom for an amazing night filled with fun, laughter and great music provided by First Impression.

Nancy & Brian couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day for a wedding and reception at the Meridian Hills Country Club.  Coverage began with Nancy’s preparations at the Marriott North as coordinator Rachel Dillow tended to her every need, followed by her first meeting with Brian.  Then we all headed to MHCC for more photos on the links with Nate & Tiffany from Nathaniel Edmunds Photography before settling in for a picture perfect outdoor ceremony on the club’s huge back patio.

The ballroom for the reception looked stunning with decor by The Empty Vase’s David Strohmeyer.  Nancy’s father provided nice personalized introductions for the whole bridal party, humorously nearly forgetting to introduce the newly married couple.  The live music provided by First Impression was jazzy and engaging as usual, leading to a crowded dance floor and fun night for all.
