Frances & Phil shared an emotional, faith-filled wedding ceremony at the Indiana Landmarks Center, followed by a reception at the stunningly decorated Indianapolis Museum of Art. Our coverage started with a fun rehearsal dinner Friday night at the Westin, then resumed Saturday at the ceremony site as Jim & Lois Wyant were capturing group photos. The ceremony including several unique spiritual touches such as a group prayer among the bridal party, communion and a sand ceremony where the sand filled an actual picture frame of the couple.

The guests gathered in the Pulliam Hall at the IMA for cocktail service by Kahn’s Catering before proceeding to Deer Zink Pavilion, which was stunningly lit only by the glow of Chinese lanterns overhead, installed by Scott Evans and the Wow Factors crew. Sweet Pea Floral Design‘s beautiful work completed the transformation, and Wedding Entertainment Director Jim Cerone (who referred Frances & Phil to us) presided over the rest of this amazing evening, which was executed to perfection by Laura Lim of Eventfull Planning.

Indianapolis Colts Pro Bowl safety Antoine Bethea invited many of his fellow playmakers and friends to the Colts Grille for a launch party and fundraiser for his new charity, the Safe Coverage Foundation, benefiting youth in several communities.  There were some very sweet auction items including signed jerseys by the likes of Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, Albert Pujols, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady and of course Peyton Manning.  I had a blast mingling with Antoine and other Pro Bowl players such as Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark, Joseph Addai &  Robert Mathis, and it was great to catch up with team captain & former client Gary Brackett (who confirmed that he loved his wedding film – yay!).  The gals from Eventfull Planning, along with Molly Connor Photography, Pink Poppy Ink,  Sweet Pea Floral and Evans Audio Visual, did a superb job of not only implementing the event, but handling the very busy checkout line after a successful evening.

Tracy and Jeff brought a laid-back attitude as well as a great sense of humor to their wedding day, which included a ceremony at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church and reception at the Bridgewater Club. Photographer Maya Laurent was right there (on a broken foot, no less) along with me for preparations at their home, their first meeting at the church, and some fun shots at the clubhouse. Consultant Leah McFarland of Eventfull Planning, who referred the couple to us, did a spectacular job throughout the day, with amazing decor by Sweet Pea Floral to work with. Dave & Rae rocked the house with their full band with an emphasis on 80’s rock music.
