The Crowne Plaza at Historic Union Station provided the perfect yuletide backdrop for Corrina & Kamron’s holiday wedding & reception.  The day started with prep coverage and a first look, followed by photos with Ian Borgerhoff (who referred Corrine & Kamron to us).  The ceremony in the Grand Hall was filled with laughs and looked fantastic under a magnificent arch created by Circle City Designers.  After a flawless room flip, the reception was a blast as well, with Lakeside Entertainment leading the way on the dance floor and Circle City Planners keeping the evening running smoothly.  Corrina & Kamron’s big day was definitely a perfect way to cap off an amazing 2014.

For the seventh year in a row, I was honored to film Art of the Table for the Indiana chapter of the Association of Bridal Consultants, of which I am also a proud member.  This year’s event was held downtown at Sahm’s Atrium at The Tower, with a great team of event designers, florists, vendors, sponsors and volunteers making it all happen.

From the Art of the Table website: “Now in our 11th year, Art of the Table is a delightful event of artfully appointed table displays by the city’s best event designers and florists. The celebration was conceived to raise money for education and scholarships for wedding professionals in the state of Indiana. We also give a donation to the American Cancer Society in memory of one of our own, Betty Jackson. Betty was an ABC member who died to early in her career and to whom this event honors. Since Wish Upon A Wedding Foundation is the official charity of ABC, we are highlighting a table from this charity.”

Megan & Chad’s wedding day was simply gorgeous, from their elegant ceremony at the Indiana State House through their fun reception at the Conrad Indianapolis.  Having filmed Megan’s sister Katie’s wedding many years ago, I was really excited to get to work with this family again.  After the couple’s first meeting in the stunning Kite suite and photos with Jennifer Driscoll, we headed to the State House for some more photos as well as the nuptials.  The reception looked and amazing thanks in part to the uplighting by Event One DJs and linens by LGI Linens, and DJ Wes Adkins kept the dance floor packed throughout the evening.

From her extravagant wedding in St. Lucia through her daughter’s baby shower and first birthday party, Asha’s events have been a blast to film and always a treat for the senses.  But nothing prepared me for what she had in store for Valentine’s Day at Tre Bella in Mesa, Arizona.  This upscale event strictly for adults was filled with sexy entertainment, delicious cuisine and naughty favors, all surrounded by Asha’s signature stunning decor.

In one of our most whirlwind weekends ever, we squeezed in three weddings into the three days sandwiched in between my Thailand and Hawaii trips, the most epic of which was Rita & Dennis’ three-day Indian wedding extravaganza at the Wyndham Indianapolis West.  Many amazingly talented vendors including Weddings InStyle II by Sima Patel, Masala Entertainment and Rue de Fleurs (who referred us) completely transformed the spaces into completely different worlds spanning the Thanksgiving evening mendhi all the way through the Saturday reception.  In addition to all of the jaw-dropping Indian decor, I loved the USMC-themed cocktail hour lounge, which was a wonderful tribute to Dennis’ service to our country.  Working with photographer Jessica Strickland made this whole event even more fun to capture, and I cannot thank Brandon New enough for helping me with filming throughout the weekend.

The holiday season was kicked off in style with Abby & Anatoli’s winter wonderland wedding at Christ Church Cathedral and the Columbia Club, with the newly-lit “World’s Largest Christmas Tree” towering over the proceedings.  I arrived at the club just as Karen Hall & Company were putting the finishing touches on the beautiful bride, and then joined Nathaniel Edmunds Photography as the couple greeted each other in the lobby and headed outside for photos.  Following the wedding, Monument Circle formed a panoramic backdrop for the reception in the Crystal Terrace, which was beautifully decorated by The Empty Vase along with a cake by Taylor’s Bakery.  After a few formalities including the traditional Russian bread and salt ceremony, Jim Cerone‘s music led the way for a fun evening of celebration.

Didi & Fabian celebrated their union in spectacular fashion with a wedding ceremony at St. John Catholic Church followed by a lively reception at the Indiana Roof Ballroom, who referred this wedding to us.  I captured footage of Didi’s preparations at the Omni Severin along with planner April Stegeman and Kevin Monahan Photography, while Brandon captured some moments with Fabian at the Hyatt Regency before taking over for the ceremony.  The reception was a sight to behold, with lovely decor by Bokay Florist, an elegant cake by Classic Cakes, and a roomful of guests dressed in colorful traditional Igbo Nigerian attire.

Just when I thought I’d seen it all, along came Sarah & Bill’s epic wedding day, starting with a ceremony at St. Mary Catholic Church and finishing in grand fashion at Crowne Plaza at Historic Union Station.  Following the ceremony, photographer Angel Canary and I captured some fun moments with the bridal party downtown, then headed to the Grand Hall, where a stunning display of eye candy awaited us.  Planner Leslie Jones (who referred us to Sarah & Bill) combined table linens, flowers by Design Group, stationery by Pink Poppy Ink, cake by Classic Cakes and lighting by Evans Audio Visual/Wow Factors to create a spectacular gradient “ombre” effect from one end of the room to the other with the couple’s favorite colors.  Wedding Entertainment Director Jim Cerone was on hand to ensure a packed dance floor and amazing party for all.  But just in case the guests needed an extra chuckle, Angel’s photo booth included props from their favorite movie “Dumb and Dumber,” and even their hashtag #WeaverPartyOfTo” got in on the fun with “Dumb and Dumber To” opening the same weekend.

Jessica & Calvin’s wedding day was a blast, from their lovely ceremony at Carmel Lutheran Church through their fantastic reception at the Bridgewater Club.  Following the ceremony, we scooted around on golf carts at the club for photos with Jennifer Driscoll.  The reception events were divided between the Legacy Room where a tasty creation by Classic Cakes greeted the guests, the banquet room where David Stromeyer made his magic happen, and the tented outdoor pavilion where Jason Fritz entertained the guests.  Expertly overseeing every detail of this fabulosity was planner Leslie Jones, who referred Jessica & Calvin to us.
