I don’t know how I can keep this short and do this spectacular event justice, but suffice it to say that Asha & Tyrone’s wedding weekend in St. Lucia was truly an experience of a lifetime. Thursday was spent traveling with Tyrone and his family from Chicago, meeting up with Asha in Atlanta, and settling in at the Windjammer Landing Resort in St. Lucia. Some of our Friday activities got rained out, but we still enjoyed a superb breakfast to start the day and a fun fish fry dinner in the streets of Anse la Raye. Saturday was especially fun, as we took an all-day cruise around the island, making stops to explore a waterfall, volcano, plantation, swimming & snorkeling.
Sunday was the big day, with “big” being the operative word here. There were over 150 guests, including the Prime Minister of St. Lucia, seated for the ceremony under a huge private tent on the resort’s beach, with fantastic decor and plenty of time devoted to music, readings and other formalities involving the couple’s many loved ones. After some photos with Dianna Hart, the four of us hopped on a boat ride to the reception at The Edge Restaurant, where we were greeted by more amazing decor, mouthwatering food, lively music and lots of happy faces ready to help the Asha & Tyrone celebrate in style.
I arrived back in Indy on Tuesday morning, but my work was just beginning, as I now had two days to assemble the previous four days’ worth of footage from four different cameras into an extended highlight video to be shown to the couple Thursday, and then their guests at the local reception on Friday. I’m not usually around to see our clients’ reactions to our videos, so Asha & Tyrone’s stunned, tearful response was a moment I’ll never forget. The reception at the Conrad provided a chance for many friends and family members who could not travel to St. Lucia to celebrate with the couple, and for me to work with Megan W Photography, DJ Indiana Jones and event designer Yanni Design Studio for the first time.
A special shout out goes to the Omni Severin’s Rebecca Raymond for referring this adventure of a lifetime to me. Thanks as well to the couple’s guests for the hospitality, companionship and ample helpings of laughter while in St. Lucia. Finally, a huge thank you to Asha & Tyrone for letting me be part of your incredible week, and for your military service to our country.

Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary Mr. & Mrs. Olive!!!!!!!
Thanks Bob for doing such an amazing job by capturing every moment of those precious days. Although I was only able to attend the Indianapolis Reception, you gave me the opportunity to witness their joy at the St. Lucia Wedding & Reception.
Thanks Asha & Tyrone Jr. for sharing your special day with Family and Friends. Everything was breathtakingly beautiful!!!!!!!
I just got off the phone with Asha and I had to look up her St. Lucia special – she raved about your work, and now I see why! What a great event! Cheers!!!
