On the eve of the annual International Special Events Society Indiana Chapter’s annual educational conference, I had the pleasure of joining many of my favorite event industry colleagues from the Indiana chapter and around the country for our annual Masters Dinner. This was a literal feast for all the senses, a spectacular, immersive experience that none of us will soon forget.

For the seventh year in a row, I was honored to film Art of the Table for the Indiana chapter of the Association of Bridal Consultants, of which I am also a proud member. This year’s event was held downtown at Sahm’s Atrium at The Tower, with a great team of event designers, florists, vendors, sponsors and volunteers making it all happen.
From the Art of the Table website: “Now in our 11th year, Art of the Table is a delightful event of artfully appointed table displays by the city’s best event designers and florists. The celebration was conceived to raise money for education and scholarships for wedding professionals in the state of Indiana. We also give a donation to the American Cancer Society in memory of one of our own, Betty Jackson. Betty was an ABC member who died to early in her career and to whom this event honors. Since Wish Upon A Wedding Foundation is the official charity of ABC, we are highlighting a table from this charity.”
”I Kicked Cancer’s Ass!” Tonya Shadoan of Circle City Planners organized a very special gathering of friends & family to surprise her daughter Katelyn in celebration of her triumph over cancer. How an entire high school kept this event a secret was a mystery, but Kate was indeed surprised, and she & her friends had the time of their lives. It was honor to be there among friends to help celebrate the start of a healthy new chapter in Katelyn’s life.
I had such a great time helping my friends at Posh Petals celebrate 10 years of awesomeness, along with a fun vendor team of some of my favorite people including Eventfull Planning, Nathaniel Edmunds Photography, Jim Cerone, MBP Catering, A Classic Party Rental & KB Design. Congrats, Meredith & Erika, and here’s to the next 10 years!
When the Detail + Design team contacted me about filming some decor for a corporate event over the course of three days, I knew it would be spectacular and that I couldn’t pass it up. The events took place in and around the JW Marriott, and other than the moment part of me was hanging over the edge of a 14-story building’s roof for a shot, I had a great time capturing the razzle dazzle alongside photographer Kristin Hornberger.

Asha & Tyrone have been a very fun couple to work with, from their wedding in St. Lucia to their baby shower last year in New Jersey. This time around their adorable baby girl Iayah celebrated her first birthday at the Mesa Convention Center in Arizona. Asha is emerging as a brilliant event designer, and the Candy Shoppe theme was not only right in her colorful wheelhouse, but also literally a treat to all the friends & family (and especially their kids) who came. It was a blast to be reunited with so many familiar faces and to be part of another special life event with this wonderful family.
