Indianapolis Colts Pro Bowl safety Antoine Bethea invited many of his fellow playmakers and friends to the Colts Grille for a launch party and fundraiser for his new charity, the Safe Coverage Foundation, benefiting youth in several communities.  There were some very sweet auction items including signed jerseys by the likes of Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, Albert Pujols, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady and of course Peyton Manning.  I had a blast mingling with Antoine and other Pro Bowl players such as Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark, Joseph Addai &  Robert Mathis, and it was great to catch up with team captain & former client Gary Brackett (who confirmed that he loved his wedding film – yay!).  The gals from Eventfull Planning, along with Molly Connor Photography, Pink Poppy Ink,  Sweet Pea Floral and Evans Audio Visual, did a superb job of not only implementing the event, but handling the very busy checkout line after a successful evening.

Jill and Cody had their wedding ceremony at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, and their reception followed at the Conrad. The couple saw each other for the first time in Sower’s Garden at the church before photos with Melody and Jeremy of Carpenter Photo & Design. After the ceremony, Jill and Cody exited the church as guests waved Texas flags (where the couple lives now).

The ballroom at the Conrad looked beautiful thanks to decor by JP Parker Flowers and a fabulous cake by Classic Cakes. The Cocktail Sax Band entertained the guests during cocktails, while Jon of Event One DJs rocked the reception. Deanna Boyce of Eventfull Planning did a great job of running the show, with help from new EP partner Laura Lim.

Best wishes to you always, Jill and Cody!

Tammy and Brian got married on a hot day in August at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. To keep their guests comfortable for the outdoor ceremony, the couple provided sunglasses, fans and lemonade. The groom even custom-built the cute lemonade stand, which made for a picture-perfect photo op with photographer, Jessica Strickland.

Teresa Gift and Leah McFarland of Eventfull Planning and Palm Court Design did an amazing job with all of the decor, including the balloons leading to the ceremony site, the benches scattered among the guests’ chairs and the beautiful florals. Everything provided such a lovely setting for the ceremony, which incorporated touching speeches from family members.

Jim Cerone hosted the reception and provided all of his personal touches before and after the delicious dinner prepared by Kahn’s Catering. Heavenly Sweets made a cake to look like the bride’s dress, and both the cake and the dress were stunning! Indy Photo Booths supplied crowd-pleasing entertainment with fun photos, and the couple provided popcorn as a late night snack. Congratulations to Tammy and Brian, and thanks for letting us capture your special day!

This was no ordinary wedding day for Heather & Justin – motorcycle accident injury, jet ski joyriding, heavy rain, groom’s entrance by boat, bride’s entrance by Cinderella carriage, traffic citations and a blacked out reception among other crazy happenings – it was “for better or worse” all in one day.  But Heather & Justin, who are clearly built to last, weathered it all with a great attitude.  The skies cleared up just in time for a most memorable lakeside ceremony and fun & sexy shots with photographers Brandy & Sticky Rammel.

The reception at the snazzy Philmore on Broadway in Fort Wayne was the picture of perfection…until the whole neighborhood lost power right before the first dance.  Thankfully, the very resourceful band Naked Karate Girls hooked up their bass to their van parked outside and used a prop megaphone for a mic, delivering an unplugged (and unlit, other than my camera light) set of party songs with amazing energy that had the crowd fired up and oblivious to the darkness and heat.  All this while Leah & Adrienne of Eventfull Planning scrambled behind the scenes to deliver as much of a “reception” experience as possible.  In the end, everyone had a blast, and Heather & Justin will have some great stories to tell – AND the video to prove it!
