Kelly & Brock enjoyed an elegant wedding ceremony at the beautiful Sacred Heart Catholic Church, followed by an awesome reception at the Scottish Rite Cathedral.  Our coverage began during preparations in Kelly’s spacious bridal suite at the Omni Severin, followed by an emotional first look with Brock by Union Station.  After the ceremony, we headed around downtown alongside photographer Anya Albonetti for more shots, highlighted by an impromptu photo bomb and performance by the Purdue Marching Band.

The reception decor courtesy of Royal Creations was fantastic, the service by Thomas Caterers was first-class as always, and the cake by Classic Cakes was superb.  Live music by The Flying Toasters and an after-party by DJ Lockstar guaranteed a great time by all, and Eventfull Planning (led by Teresa, who referred this wedding to us) was there throughout the whole planning process to ensure an amazing, perfectly executed day.

Claire and Thomas had their gorgeous wedding ceremony and elegant reception at the Conrad Hotel. Special thanks to Amanda Coffey of the Conrad and Gene Huddleson of Detail + Design for referring the couple to us!

The bride and groom had their “first look” on the hotel’s staircase followed by photos downtown with Andrew Scalini. The ceremony included wonderful personal touches, including hilarious vows written by Claire.

Afterwards, the reception decor was absolutely stunning thanks to Detail + Design, KB Design and Classic Cakes. The Flying Toasters rocked the house, and Monica Richard of Detail + Design ran the day to perfection. The evening concluded with French fries and a swanky after party next door.

Best wishes Claire and Thomas, and thanks for letting us capture your special day!

(“Team Effort” video submitted with ISES Esprit Award entry.)

When many of Indy’s top wedding professionals collaborated on Abbie & Gabe’s spectacular “Rock ‘N’ Roll Holiday Wedding” last fall, we knew that it was an award-worthy event. That recognition came last weekend in the form of the prestigious International Special Events Society (ISES) Esprit Award in the category of Best Team Effort, one of the evening’s top awards, and the first ever brought home to Indiana for a wedding.

Most of our nominated slate traveled to Baltimore for the Esprit Awards ceremony, which concluded Eventworld 2010, the annual ISES conference. After a fun-crammed day of shenanigans under the sun in the famous Inner Harbor, we arrived at the ceremony with some anxiety over how we would fare. The second we heard the first syllable of our entry’s name announced as the winner, we all exploded, and the high never let up from the stage to backstage photos and throughout dinner, dancing and afterwards.

Major props to our award-winning team of Circle City Planners, Nathaniel Edmunds Photography, KB Designs, Evans Audio Visual and Indy Photo Booths. Thanks as well to Crowne Plaza at Union Station, Circle City Designers and the Flying Toasters among others who made the event what it was. Of course, not of this would have been possible without a beautiful couple at the center of it all, so big thanks to Abbie & Gabe for falling in love and entrusting us with your unique vision.
