Keelin & Brad found me at the top of the IndyChannel.com A-List, and I’m so glad they did. This super-spunky couple exchanged vows at Tabernacle Presbyterian Church before celebrating at the Sheraton City Centre. Katie of Katie & Kristin Photography was great to work with, and I loved their photo booth setup. The decor provided by JP Parker Flowers was wonderful as always. And DJ Greg Binder (a.k.a. Dr. Dance) gave the couple’s colorful sneakers as well as the rest of the crowd a good workout on the dance floor. As I type this, Keelin & Brad are honeymooning in the very same St. Lucia resort where I filmed a wedding a few weekends ago. Lucky them!

Tracy and Jeff brought a laid-back attitude as well as a great sense of humor to their wedding day, which included a ceremony at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church and reception at the Bridgewater Club. Photographer Maya Laurent was right there (on a broken foot, no less) along with me for preparations at their home, their first meeting at the church, and some fun shots at the clubhouse. Consultant Leah McFarland of Eventfull Planning, who referred the couple to us, did a spectacular job throughout the day, with amazing decor by Sweet Pea Floral to work with. Dave & Rae rocked the house with their full band with an emphasis on 80’s rock music.

Our spring wedding season kicked off in style as Marie & Jay tied the knot at the Conrad. The day started with a visit to Red’s Barber Shop for the guys and makeup by Kiralee for the gals. After a heart-tugging first meeting, Marie & Jay headed out for some fun photo ops with bobbi+mike, eventually joined by their “Best Dog” Tater.

The beautiful ceremony and reception were overseen by consultant Kim King Smith and her staff, with splendid decor throughout by Bokay Florist. When the guests weren’t crowding one of the Indy Photo Booths, they were either glued to the dance floor thanks to great music by DJ Jason Ryan of AMS Entertainment or trying out bobbi+mike’s new “unboxed photobooth.” Thanks to all of the above for the referral, thanks to Jet Kaiser for helping me out at the last minute, and big thanks to Marie & Jay for being such an awesome couple to work for!

Art of the Table is a showcase of designer tablescapes sponsored by the Association of Bridal Consultants Indiana Chapter to benefit the Betty Jackson Memorial Education Fund, the Dorothy Penner Memorial Scholarship, and the American Cancer Society. Here are the highlights from this year’s amazing showcase at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.

It was an extravagant spectacle right out of Hollywood with the coolest, most down to earth couple at the center of it all. Ten years after shooting Rachel’s 16th birthday party, I had the pleasure of being there for another milestone as she and Hale became one at the Crowne Plaza at Historic Union Station.

Coverage started with a superb rehearsal dinner at the Indianapolis Museum of Art the night before, then continued in the 14 West penthouse the following morning as Leslie Jones helped Rachel get ready for the big day. Meanwhile, the amazing team of Premier Events‘ David Jackson, Palmer Kelly Design and Evans Audio-Visual all topped themselves in completely transforming the Grand Hall at Union Station.

After an eloquent ceremony officiated by spiritual author Marianne Williamson, the guests were treated to fabulous dinner entertainment by the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and the Indiana Ballet Company. Then New York party band Starlight Orchestra took the stage and simply blew us all away. It was a treat of a lifetime to work with so much talent, along with friends like Jennifer Driscoll, Sunny Moon and Indy Photo Booths.

I won’t be posting a video clip, so hopefully these fabulous detail and decor shots from Jennifer’s blog post will convey at least a taste of the beauty and magnitude of this most unforgettable day in celebration of a wonderful couple.

Darcie & Jon are such a fun, spirited couple who enjoyed a fun fall wedding and lively reception in the Grand Hall at the Crowne Plaza at Historic Union Station. After their first meeting, we took a trolley to White River State Park with photographer Troy Hill for some fun shots while designer Debbie Watson of Distinctive Designs put her final touches on the gorgeous decor in the Grand Hall for the ceremony. In addition to providing beautiful uplighting for the room, DJ Brian Whitis presided over a fantastic reception in which Jon & Darcie were glued to the dance floor the entire evening. Big thanks to the Crowne Plaza folks and Jessica & Mark Andres for introducing me to this awesome couple!
