Just when I thought I’d seen it all, along came Sarah & Bill’s epic wedding day, starting with a ceremony at St. Mary Catholic Church and finishing in grand fashion at Crowne Plaza at Historic Union Station.  Following the ceremony, photographer Angel Canary and I captured some fun moments with the bridal party downtown, then headed to the Grand Hall, where a stunning display of eye candy awaited us.  Planner Leslie Jones (who referred us to Sarah & Bill) combined table linens, flowers by Design Group, stationery by Pink Poppy Ink, cake by Classic Cakes and lighting by Evans Audio Visual/Wow Factors to create a spectacular gradient “ombre” effect from one end of the room to the other with the couple’s favorite colors.  Wedding Entertainment Director Jim Cerone was on hand to ensure a packed dance floor and amazing party for all.  But just in case the guests needed an extra chuckle, Angel’s photo booth included props from their favorite movie “Dumb and Dumber,” and even their hashtag #WeaverPartyOfTo” got in on the fun with “Dumb and Dumber To” opening the same weekend.

No one will soon forget Kourtni & Mike’s wedding weekend at Blueberry Hill Estate in the beautiful rolling hills of Paoli, Indiana.  From the rehearsal activities Friday night captured by Brandon through the concluding fireworks Saturday, the magic never let up.  The hilltop ceremony was an unforgettable highlight, with Darcie and her team working hard to make it happen ahead of the approaching rain.  The reception tent looked magnificent as well, and Jim Cerone was the perfect host to guide the guests through so many unique moments, my favorite of which was the singing of “Sweet Caroline” as a tribute to the memory of loved ones who were missed.  Kudos to the rest of the amazing team of vendors for toughing out the extreme heat & driving rain to make this amazing day happen, including Circle City Planners, Ian Borgerhoff Photography (who referred Kourtni & Mike to us), Karen Hall and Company, Westwood Paper Company, Hoaglin Catering, Heavenly Sweets, Wow Factors and Evans Audio Visual.BlogNalkerNew

Meredith & Jamie were such a fun couple to work with throughout their wedding weekend at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, from their ketubah signing at the rehearsal through their beautiful ceremony behind the Lilly House & Gardens, culminating with an amazing reception in the Deer Zink Pavilion.  Overseeing all the details was planner Anne Rogers, and the decor by Alan Thompson AIFD of McNamara Florists, especially around the chuppah, gave photographer Jennifer Driscoll (who referred us) and me a lot of eye candy to work with.  Dinner service by Kahn’s Catering was perfect as always, as was the entertainment by “The Perfect Host” himself, Jim Cerone.

Sara & Curtis enjoyed a blast of a wedding day with a ceremony at St. Barnabus Catholic Church followed by a lively reception at D’Amore Indianapolis.  After preparations with JW Salon and Makeup by Sparkle, a sweet first look in the Hilton Garden Inn lobby, and a few quick shots on monument Circle with photographer Jessica Strickland, we headed to the same church where we filmed Curtis’ sister Kristen’s wedding just last fall for their beautiful ceremony.

After some more photos around White River State Park, we all settled into D’Amore, where planner Monica Richard (who referred Sara & Curtis to us), The Empty Vase, Wow Factors, Pomp & Polish and the rest of the design team created a vibrant, sparkly atmosphere accentuated by the setting sun.  Dinner & dessert by Thomas Caterers and Classic Cakes was amazing as usual, and Wedding Entertainment Director Jim Cerone kept the energetic crowd on its feet all night.

Hollace & Ryan enjoyed a beautiful wedding day with a ceremony and reception at the JW Marriott.  The ceremony included a sweet sand ceremony as the couple and Ryan’s two daughters symbolized the blending of their families.  After some photo time with Jennifer Driscoll, Wedding Entertainment Director Jim Cerone (who along with the JW Marriott referred Hollace & Ryan to us) presided over a fun reception that included lovely decor by JP Parker Flowers, delicious dessert by Classic Cakes, and lots of smiles with Indy Photo Booths.

Abbe & Danny enjoyed a perfect winter wedding day, from their lovely ceremony at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church to their fun reception at the Marriott Indianapolis downtown. It was a nice holiday treat to work with such a sweet couple along with friends such as my church’s retired senior pastor Dr. Kent Millard, DJ & “Perfect Host” Jim Cerone (who referred Abbe & Danny to us), photographer Kristin Hornberger, Michelle Espinoza of Marie Gabriel Couture, and some other industry friends & former clients among the guests.

Frances & Phil shared an emotional, faith-filled wedding ceremony at the Indiana Landmarks Center, followed by a reception at the stunningly decorated Indianapolis Museum of Art. Our coverage started with a fun rehearsal dinner Friday night at the Westin, then resumed Saturday at the ceremony site as Jim & Lois Wyant were capturing group photos. The ceremony including several unique spiritual touches such as a group prayer among the bridal party, communion and a sand ceremony where the sand filled an actual picture frame of the couple.

The guests gathered in the Pulliam Hall at the IMA for cocktail service by Kahn’s Catering before proceeding to Deer Zink Pavilion, which was stunningly lit only by the glow of Chinese lanterns overhead, installed by Scott Evans and the Wow Factors crew. Sweet Pea Floral Design‘s beautiful work completed the transformation, and Wedding Entertainment Director Jim Cerone (who referred Frances & Phil to us) presided over the rest of this amazing evening, which was executed to perfection by Laura Lim of Eventfull Planning.

Erin & JP’s beautiful wedding day at the Eiteljorg Museum could not have been more perfect.  After opening each other’s thoughtful gifts (what groom wouldn’t want a duffle bag full of candy?), they shared a tender first meeting while photographer Ryan Woodall and I captured the moment.  The ceremony in the Circle Garden was beautiful, with flowers by Posh Petals, music by Jim Cerone (who referred Erin & JP to us), and an aloha-accented message by officiant Scott Rudicel for their Hawaiian guests.

After cocktails by the canal, everyone headed up to the ballroom for an amazing evening highlighted by Kahn’s Catering‘s flawless service, a hilarious speech by the best man and a tearful father-daughter dance, while coordinator Christine Kingery worked hard behind the scenes to help keep the day running smoothly.
