Lauren & Ryan are a wonderful, faith-filled couple who exchanged vows at Second Presbyterian Church before celebrating their union at D’Amore Indianapolis. Coverage started with the rehearsal, followed by a fun, Texas-sized hoedown dinner in a full-sized basketball gym on a relative’s property.

The wedding day was filled with moments both surreal & magical, from the way a gust of wind lifted Lauren veil right off her head to a moving moment of prayer while holding hands without seeing each other prior to the ceremony. The reception was filled with surprises as well, my favorite of which was Ryan (a college quarterback) removing the garter from Lauren…with a football wrapped in it!

Kudos to an amazing vendor team, including photographer Shelly Valentine, Palmer Kelley Designs, the Thomas Caterers team, Heavenly SweetsIndy Photo Booths – and especially Wedding Entertainment Director Jim Cerone and planner Jeanne Milan, both of whom referred this All-American couple to us.

Maggie & Steven exchanged vows in a Judeo-Christian ceremony under a gorgeous chuppah at Tabernacle Presbyterian Church, and then celebrated with friends & family at the Crowne Plaza at Historic Union Station. After a first meeting and exchange of gifts under the chuppah, they headed outside for photos with Nathaniel Edmunds Photography and then signed a ketubah, while A Touch of Elegance worked behind the scenes to set the stage for a beautiful wedding with combined traditions.

The reception featured many unique touches, and the Grand Hall looked fantastic with classically elegant decor by Bokay Florist and a towering cake by Heavenly Sweets. Wedding Entertainment Director Jim Cerone presided over the evening’s events, culminating in a “flashy” grand exit by horse carriage. It was a blast working with many of my favorite vendor friends, and big thanks to Meredith Gradle for referring your super-sweet sister & new brother-in-law to us!

Libby & Colin were united in a lovely ceremony and amazing reception at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. Brandon was there to capture everything from their emotional first meeting in the Tilers Room through their final dance surrounded by their loved ones in the ballroom, and everything in between. An A+ team of vendors helped to make the day extra special and fun, including our friends from Nathaniel Edmunds Photography, Lilly Lane Flowers & Events, Thomas Caterers of Distinction, and Wedding Entertainment Director Jim Cerone, who referred Libby & Colin to us.

Sarah & Jeff | First Presbyterian Church & Cornerstone Center for the Arts

Hard to believe it’s been over five years since I filmed Christin & Kyle’s wedding, but it was a joy to be reunited with their families for Sarah & Jeff’s big day in Muncie.  After preparations with Karen Hall, a first meeting and some photo time with Sarah Lawhorn at First Presbyterian Church, the couple enjoyed a lovely ceremony, while some of their guests undoubtedly entertained themselves with the cute little word search puzzle in the programs.

I barely beat the rain to the Cornerstone Center for the Arts, the same place where Wedding Entertainment Director Jim Cerone and I had collaborated on Christin & Kyle’s reception five years earlier.  After a few formalities including a tear-jerking speech by the father of the bride and a cake cutting that was a “smash,” the guests were ready to tear up the dance floor once again as Mr. Cerone presided over the evening’s events with his usual professionalism.

Anica & Andy became one in an elegant wedding ceremony at Meridian Street United Methodist Church, followed by a huge reception at Crowne Plaza at Historic Union Station.  Family and faith were recurrent themes throughout the day, as Andy’s father (who was also his best man) presided over a portion of the ceremony, and Anica’s father lovingly restored a bicycle from the 1940’s, which was a striking focal point for Circle City Designers‘ eclectic decor as the guests arrived at the reception.  Wedding Entertainment Director Jim Cerone led the crowd through an evening filled with priceless moments, and after some cool night-time downtown shots with photographer Kevin Swan, Anica & Andy exited through a row of sparklers  into their new life together.  Big thanks to Jim, Kevin & the Crowne for referring such a beautiful event to us!

Becca and Dan’s rehearsal dinner at Maggiano’s was a casual affair celebrating not only their union the next day but also Becca’s birthday. On the wedding day at Carmel Lutheran Church, Kirsten Wray captured some particularly fun shots inside the sanctuary, with the holiday decor adding an extra festive flair. We especially loved Dan’s emotional reaction to seeing Becca walk down the aisle.

The reception followed at Marriott North, and the ballroom looked stunning thanks to decor by McNamara Florist. Wedding Entertainment Director, Jim Cerone, presided over the formalities and delivered one of the most packed dance floors from beginning to end that we’ve ever seen. (Thanks so much for the referral, Jim!)

All in all, this wedding was a fabulous way to end our 2010 shoots, and we wish Becca and Dan a lifetime of love and happiness. Cheers!

Kelsey and Peter’s ceremony took place on the first floor of the Columbia Club followed by a reception in the 10th Floor Ballroom. We started the day capturing the couple getting photos taken by photographer Kiera Dubach.

The flowers for the ceremony and reception were beautiful thanks to JP Parker Flowers. As always, guests enjoyed dancing to the music provided by Jim Cerone (thanks for the referral Jim!) and posing for fun pictures in the booth from Indy Photo Booths. The reception highlight was a beautiful serenade by the bride to the groom.

Best wishes Kelsey and Peter!

On the day before Halloween, Andrea and Nick tied the knot in scary style with a wedding and reception in the clubhouse of (where else?) Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville. The splendid decor provided by Andrea’s mom was filled with tricks and treats for the eye, and Nick’s mother provided and amazing trio of cakes.

Photographer Derek Cadzow of Love and Life Photography came all the way from St. Louis to capture the events of the day, including some beautiful sunset shots on the course. From the processional all the way through the final dance, Jim Cerone provided a highly customized setlist fitting the holiday as well as the couple’s eclectic music tastes.

Congratulations Andrea and Nick! You two are perfect for each other!

Tammy and Brian got married on a hot day in August at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. To keep their guests comfortable for the outdoor ceremony, the couple provided sunglasses, fans and lemonade. The groom even custom-built the cute lemonade stand, which made for a picture-perfect photo op with photographer, Jessica Strickland.

Teresa Gift and Leah McFarland of Eventfull Planning and Palm Court Design did an amazing job with all of the decor, including the balloons leading to the ceremony site, the benches scattered among the guests’ chairs and the beautiful florals. Everything provided such a lovely setting for the ceremony, which incorporated touching speeches from family members.

Jim Cerone hosted the reception and provided all of his personal touches before and after the delicious dinner prepared by Kahn’s Catering. Heavenly Sweets made a cake to look like the bride’s dress, and both the cake and the dress were stunning! Indy Photo Booths supplied crowd-pleasing entertainment with fun photos, and the couple provided popcorn as a late night snack. Congratulations to Tammy and Brian, and thanks for letting us capture your special day!
