Lindsey & Danny are one of the most hilarious couples I’ve ever worked with, and their wedding day at my old stomping grounds of Bloomington, Indiana was full of fun, laughter and perfect weather.  After a sweet first meeting at the Wells House, a popular Indiana University hotspot filled with romantic tradition, we headed around campus for photos with Lisa Walker Photography‘s team on the way to the ceremony at First United Methodist Church.
The reception took place inside the Indiana Memorial Union‘s Alumni Hall, which was amazingly adorned by consultant and designer Cathy Teeters, who referred Lindsey & Danny to us.  For the second time in two years, we got to see a Bloomington reception get rocked by the terrific band Stretta out of Nashville, who nearly had the show stolen from them by the happy couple when they got onstage for a couple of showstoppers.

Caitlin & Preston exchanged vows at the beautiful St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Westfield before heading to the Indianapolis Museum of Art for an amazing reception. The Disney fairy tale-themed tables mixed in nicely with touches by Knox Flower Shop located in Frankfort, Indiana. The guests were entertained throughout the evening with dinner service by Nourish Cafe, a slideshow by Astra Creative, music by Lakeside Entertainment and a photo booth by Strike a Pose. We had the pleasure of filming Caitlin’s brother Andrew’s wedding a few years ago, so it was great to catch up with this wonderful family. Congratulations!

Stephanie and Anthony had a lovely ceremony and a gorgeous reception at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. Our day started alongside great friend and photographer, Angela Talley (who referred the couple to us), capturing the bride and groom getting ready, their first look and shots all around downtown Indy at locations that mean a lot to the couple. Kiralee and Irina from EyeMAX Makeup did a wonderful job on makeup and hair for the bridal party, as always.

The theatre and ballroom looked fabulous thanks to McNamara Florist, Evans Audio Visual (who also came through with the DJ last minute!), Classic Cakes, and of course, Thomas Caterers of Distinction provided the delicious food, including the unique rose sorbet. The fun-filled reception included the bride and groom doing lots of flips during dancing, and the groom even led his mom in a polka. Their Polish family tradition of putting an apron on the bride got all of the guests up and dancing around her, and guests stayed on their feet all night long.

Best wishes, Stephanie and Anthony! Thank you so much for having us capture your special day!

Chrissy and Ryan exchanged vows at Central Presbyterian Church in Lafayette, Indiana before celebrating in style at the Purdue Memorial Union.  Prior to the ceremony, they enjoyed a romantic first look in the sanctuary, followed by photos with Studio Blue Photography‘s Sami Abu-Rumman.  After  the ceremony, a huge Purdue bus escorted the party around campus, moments before a “Boilermaker Special” train car ushered the wedding party into the South Ballroom.  The reception looked and sounded fantastic, courtesy of decor by Alley Flowers and music by The Music Factory‘s Brian Kearnaghan.  This was our fourth wedding for Ryan’s family and friends, so it was a joy to be surrounded by so many familiar faces celebrating Chrissy & Ryan’s big day.

Shekema & Matthew enjoyed a beautiful wedding in the Ritz Charles chapel, followed by a lively reception in the main building. Coverage started with the bride’s preparations in the Renaissance Hotel across the street, while the hilarious groom kept his friends in stitches at the chapel. The ceremony was short and sweet, concluding with the traditional jumping of the broom. Photographers Kevin & Alicia Monahan captured some fun moments after the ceremony while coordinator April Foster & McNamara Florist put the finishing touches on the ballroom. Wes Adkins of Event One DJs guided the couple guests through the formalities as well as a funny “Newlywed Game” before packing the floor with some great tunes.

Cayla and Ben had a spectacular ceremony and reception at Crowne Plaza at Historic Union Station! Wedding planners, Deborah and Cassie of A Touch of Elegance (who referred the couple to us), did an absolutely amazing job transforming the space with the help of Bokay Florist, A Classic Party Rental Company, Sweet Seductions and of course, the Crowne Plaza staff. Karen Hall & Company provided the awesome makeup and hair styles, and Erin Hession took fabulous photos of the stunning bride and groom.

Tony from Event One DJs kept the dance floor packed, and guests filled themselves with delicious sweets from the candy bar. The night ended with a sparkler exit, and a horse and carriage took the couple away as family and friends waved goodbye.

Best wishes always, Cayla and Ben! Thanks for letting us be a part of your unforgettable day!

Courtney and Lyle enjoyed a beautiful wedding ceremony and terrific reception at the Crowne Plaza at Historic Union Station. Courtney looked amazing thanks to our good friend Kiralee of EyeMAX Makeup. The ceremony included many beautiful Filipino traditions, including a coin exchange as well as veil and cord ceremonies.

Afterwards, we wandered around the station for some photos with Jeremy and Vickie while the Crowne Plaza staff (who referred Courtney and Lyle to us) and JP Parker Flowers flipped the Grand Hall for the reception. Everyone enjoyed dancing to the tunes played by DJ Dennis Furr, and I particularly enjoyed the delicious treats that Lyle’s mother Lilia sent home with me.

Congratulations Courtney and Lyle!

Elena and Ryan enjoyed an elegant wedding ceremony at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church before celebrating with a surprise-filled reception at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. Following the ceremony, the bridal party took off in a trolley for photos with Jamie Owens of J. Scott Photography at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.

The reception setup looked fabulous thanks to the efforts of Royal Creations, Thomas Caterers of Distinction and Classic Cakes. Rick of DJs Direct kept the crowd going all night and helped execute the highlight of the evening to perfection, as Elena and her father “interrupted” their own father-daughter dance to surprise their guests with an epic Greek dance.

Congratulations Elena and Ryan!

Kali and Garrett got married at St. Mary Catholic Church, and they had an absolutely stunning reception at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. It was wonderful working with Jim of Meyer Photography while capturing all of the special moments between the bride and groom throughout the day.

The reception looked beautiful thanks to flowers by the Design Group and a cake by Classic Cakes. The Indy Express Band (who referred the couple to us!) entertained everyone and kept the dance floor packed! Congratulations Kali and Garrett! Best wishes for a lifetime of love and happiness!

Jill and Cody had their wedding ceremony at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, and their reception followed at the Conrad. The couple saw each other for the first time in Sower’s Garden at the church before photos with Melody and Jeremy of Carpenter Photo & Design. After the ceremony, Jill and Cody exited the church as guests waved Texas flags (where the couple lives now).

The ballroom at the Conrad looked beautiful thanks to decor by JP Parker Flowers and a fabulous cake by Classic Cakes. The Cocktail Sax Band entertained the guests during cocktails, while Jon of Event One DJs rocked the reception. Deanna Boyce of Eventfull Planning did a great job of running the show, with help from new EP partner Laura Lim.

Best wishes to you always, Jill and Cody!
