In addition to being involved in open houses at the Eiteljorg Museum and Mavris Arts & Event Center, plus the usual weekly editing routine, we had TWO weddings to cover on Friday – a first for us in a year of many firsts. The same team that covered the spectacular Lauth wedding back in May was reunited with us for Brandy & Craig’s big day, including event designer Gary Bravard (thanks for the referral, Gary!), photographers Dan & Brooke of Brand Photo & Design and the Indiana Roof Ballroom.
Laurie covered all the festivities this time around, beginning with an intimate ceremony at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in the Meridian Kessler area, noting that Brandy was one of the most stunning brides she had ever seen. The reception at the Roof was truly amazing with unique touches everywhere, including a way-cool Maui photo guestbook, Gary’s trademark extravagant decor, the ballroom’s signature light show introduction, and a huge tower of custard-filled rolls held together by chocolate, for lack of a technical term. Yum!
