Kelsey & David enjoyed a classically elegant wedding day, from their stunningly decorated ceremony at Second Presbyterian Church through their amazing reception at the Indiana Roof Ballroom.  The ceremony was filled with many unique touches, from the children’s choir to the massive wall of floral splendor on the altar by Enflora.  The eye candy continued into the reception, where the guests were greeted into the room by a cool guitar groom’s cake by Classic Cakes, foreshadowing the fun that would be had the remainder of the evening courtesy of AMS Entertainment.  With Mon Amie Events (who referred Kelsey & David to us) overseeing every last detail and my great friends at Nathaniel Edmunds Photography shooting alongside me, Kelsey & David’s wedding day could not have been any more perfect.

Lauren & Tom’s storybook wedding day took place on her grandparents’ farm property in Franklin, and what a day it was!  After capturing their preparations and first look alongside photographer Jennifer Driscoll, we had fun exploring the many beautiful corners of the property throughout the day for photos.  The ceremony amid the trees was right out of a movie, with cool details like “Mimi’s lemonade” greeting the guests, wedding programs by Pink Poppy Ink printed onto brown bags containing rose petals to throw, and a towering fabric backdrop pointing up to the sky.

The tented reception featured more amazing decor & details provided by A Classic Party Rental, The Empty Vase, Wow Factors, Thomas Caterers & Classic Cakes among others.  But it was the magical moments between Lauren & Tom that made the night, from their spirited dancing with music provided by Colby Beserra & The Party Faithful through their fireworks surprise for their guests.  Overseeing all this spectacle was Monica Richard of Mon Amie Events, who referred this unforgettable event to us.

Jenni & Bob wanted their residential wedding to feel like a cozy, personal gathering of their closest family and friends, so consultant Monica Richard and designer Gene Huddleson (both of Detail+Design) delivered an eye-popping experience that was intimate, unique and spectacular all at the same time. The guests arrived for a pre-ceremony cocktail hour and were greeted by a tent filled with elegant designer furniture, which created a comfortable atmosphere in which they could mingle and then witness the ceremony featuring classic rock music and lyrics by Neil Young, the Rolling Stones and the Beatles.

The reception tent design was a tour de force effort, spreading the same living room vibe around the most unbelievable dance floor I have ever seen or heard of – a detailed replica of the couple’s favorite Monet painting, with “rippling” water courtesy of BMG Productions. Add some energetic funk/R&B by the Chicago Catz and a few onstage appearances by the groom himself (his serenade to the bride with “867-5309/Jenny” was a definite highlight), and you have one extraordinary evening that no one there will ever forget.

Huge thanks to John & Angela Deaver of Main Street Productions for traveling 11 hours to film this event for us, Jenni’s sister Rachel (whose very different yet equally stunning wedding we filmed last fall) for putting in a good word for us, and especially Monica for bringing us into an incredibly talented team that also included photographer Hether Miles, Hoaglin Fine Catering, A Classic Party Rental, KB Designs, Elite Management Services Valet Parking and Classic Cakes among many others.
