Leslie & John become one during a beautiful, music-filled ceremony at Second Presbyterian Church, followed by a wonderful celebration at the Marriott North.  Getting them there was John’s sweet Ford Shelby GT500, which made for some great bridal party photos by Jordyn Byington of Jennifer Driscoll Photography.  The service by the Marriott’s award-winning staff was superb as always, and Ty Jones from Grapevine Entertainment brought irresistible dance music and a dazzling light show to the festivities.  Thanks to all of the above for referring Leslie & John to us!

Sarah & Jonathan got married in a full mass at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, a beautiful ceremony in which they were the first couple I’d ever seen do the presenting of the gifts themselves, which was a nice touch.  Afterwards, we all headed downtown for a rocking reception at the Crowne Plaza at Historic Union Station.  My favorite moment was when in lieu of a traditional blessing, the father of the bride led the whole crowd in a spirited rendition of “God Bless America.”  A Bride’s Choice Florist provided an elegant variety of looks for the tables, and the band The Rumors came up from Louisville to keep the crowd on their toes all night.  Huge thanks to photographer Jennifer Driscoll for referring Sarah & Jonathan to us!

Kyle and Caleb pulled out all the stops for their phenomenal wedding and reception at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. The tears started flowing the night before as Kyle’s mother dedicated a serenade to her during the rehearsal dinner at The Capital Grille.

Photographer Jennifer Driscoll and I captured preparations with Karen Hall and Company the next day at the Conrad, followed by the couple’s first look and more photos outside the Scottish Rite. The ceremony in the south lounge had many unique touches, from the “time capsule” box enclosed with wine bottles and notes that Kyle and Caleb hammered shut, to the dove release during the grand exit.

Consultant Darcie Kornmeyer of Circle City Planners (who referred Kyle and Caleb to us) and Tiffany Mullen of Circle City Designers teamed up to transform the ballroom once again, with a huge assist from Thomas Caterers of Distinction, Evans Audio Visual and Westwood Paper Company. Chris Burger of Copper Moon Entertainment presided over the evening’s many highlights, kicked off by a surprise early first dance on the ballroom floor during the cocktail hour as their guests enjoyed the view from the mezzanine above.

Congratulations Kyle and Caleb!

Sally and Dale had their wedding ceremony and reception at Sangiovese Restaurant in Indianapolis on a sunny day in September. Our coverage started earlier in the day when the couple saw each other for the first time at the Flowing Well Park in Carmel. Darcie Kornmeyer from Circle City Planners (who referred the couple to us!) and photographer Jennifer Driscoll improvised this “first look” location, and it turned out beautifully.

The bouquet was assembled from separate flowers (provided by Circle City Designers) that were carried in by their four children at start of the ceremony as a symbol of combining their two families. Their vows were especially emotional because Sally and Dale stood by each other “in sickness and in health” early in their relationship.

The reception had a wine theme with decor to match, including grapes on Heavenly Sweets‘ cake. The night included lots of speeches by their closest friends and family and great music from the Cocktail Sax Band. Thank you Sally and Dale for having us capture your special day. You two are truly special people.

Jennifer and Ryan’s wedding ceremony took place at First Baptist Church followed by a lovely reception at the Columbia Club.

Coverage started earlier that day at the Columbia Club where the bride and groom got ready to see each other for the first time, followed by some fun photos with Jennifer Driscoll on Monument Circle.

The ceremony was a more family-oriented affair, with the pastor’s wife joining him for part of the service. Jennifer and Ryan’s parents also joined the couple in prayer before their first kiss.

The Columbia Club looked fantastic thanks to consultant Leslie Jones and designer Jim Holland. (Thanks for the referral, Leslie!) The Wendy Reed Band rocked the house as usual. Loved Ryan’s traditional popping of the champagne and the spontaneous chair dance.

Videographer Laurie Foster captured Kristen & Jake’s special day as they exchanged vows in a lovely ceremony at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church before celebrating at the Renaissance Hotel.  Photographer Jennifer Driscoll (who referred the couple to us) snapped some great images at the Carmel Civic Center in between events as well as throughout the day.  The reception looked great courtesy of Meridian Floral Design‘s flowers mixed with the ballroom’s contemporary look, and the crowd could not resist the dance floor-packing music provided by DJ Jason Hiemstra of J Ryan Entertainment.

It was an extravagant spectacle right out of Hollywood with the coolest, most down to earth couple at the center of it all. Ten years after shooting Rachel’s 16th birthday party, I had the pleasure of being there for another milestone as she and Hale became one at the Crowne Plaza at Historic Union Station.

Coverage started with a superb rehearsal dinner at the Indianapolis Museum of Art the night before, then continued in the 14 West penthouse the following morning as Leslie Jones helped Rachel get ready for the big day. Meanwhile, the amazing team of Premier Events‘ David Jackson, Palmer Kelly Design and Evans Audio-Visual all topped themselves in completely transforming the Grand Hall at Union Station.

After an eloquent ceremony officiated by spiritual author Marianne Williamson, the guests were treated to fabulous dinner entertainment by the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and the Indiana Ballet Company. Then New York party band Starlight Orchestra took the stage and simply blew us all away. It was a treat of a lifetime to work with so much talent, along with friends like Jennifer Driscoll, Sunny Moon and Indy Photo Booths.

I won’t be posting a video clip, so hopefully these fabulous detail and decor shots from Jennifer’s blog post will convey at least a taste of the beauty and magnitude of this most unforgettable day in celebration of a wonderful couple.
