Kelly & Al shared an intimate and blissful wedding day with their family and friends at the beautiful Laurel Hall.  The rain cleared in plenty of time for the elegant ceremony on the back terrace and lawn, where the couple was accompanied by their respective children as the two families blended into one.  After taking some photos with Hether Miles, they joined their guests for cocktails in the solarium and then dinner in the conference center, featuring service by Kahn’s Catering and gorgeous decor by Alan Thompson, AIFD of McNamara Florist.  Once the action moved into the dining room for some great live music by the band LemonWheel, the energy never let up.  Kudos to Signature Events by Barbie for keeping everything running smoothly, and thanks for the referral!

Maggie & Ben rang in the new year in style with a wedding ceremony at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, followed by a reception at the Conrad Indianapolis. This was no ordinary reception, as designer David Reilich and McNamara Florist‘s Alan Thompson, AIFD created a unique communal atmosphere highlighted by long never-ending tables lined with florals and candles. The Endless Summer Band kept the crowd going strong throughout the night, and then kicked it into an even higher gear after the midnight countdown. It was fun as always working with Amanda & Nate of Turtle Pond Photography, and big thanks to the Conrad’s Amanda Spicer for the last-minute referral!

Laurie captured the details and emotions beautifully as Charlotte & Rodney tied the knot at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.  After an elegant wedding highlighted by unique readings and a special sand ceremony, the couple roamed around the grounds for some fun shots with our friends from Wyant Photography.  Meanwhile, the Deer Zink Pavilion was decked out in fabulous fashion by McNamara Florist, while the Pulliam Great Hall was expertly accented by Evans Audio Visual for cocktails, with a dramatic change-up in lighting for dancing later in the evening.  A “Soul Train” line was a fun and funky way for the band to kick off a memorable night of dancing for the guests.

Stephanie and Anthony had a lovely ceremony and a gorgeous reception at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. Our day started alongside great friend and photographer, Angela Talley (who referred the couple to us), capturing the bride and groom getting ready, their first look and shots all around downtown Indy at locations that mean a lot to the couple. Kiralee and Irina from EyeMAX Makeup did a wonderful job on makeup and hair for the bridal party, as always.

The theatre and ballroom looked fabulous thanks to McNamara Florist, Evans Audio Visual (who also came through with the DJ last minute!), Classic Cakes, and of course, Thomas Caterers of Distinction provided the delicious food, including the unique rose sorbet. The fun-filled reception included the bride and groom doing lots of flips during dancing, and the groom even led his mom in a polka. Their Polish family tradition of putting an apron on the bride got all of the guests up and dancing around her, and guests stayed on their feet all night long.

Best wishes, Stephanie and Anthony! Thank you so much for having us capture your special day!

Shekema & Matthew enjoyed a beautiful wedding in the Ritz Charles chapel, followed by a lively reception in the main building. Coverage started with the bride’s preparations in the Renaissance Hotel across the street, while the hilarious groom kept his friends in stitches at the chapel. The ceremony was short and sweet, concluding with the traditional jumping of the broom. Photographers Kevin & Alicia Monahan captured some fun moments after the ceremony while coordinator April Foster & McNamara Florist put the finishing touches on the ballroom. Wes Adkins of Event One DJs guided the couple guests through the formalities as well as a funny “Newlywed Game” before packing the floor with some great tunes.

Becca and Dan’s rehearsal dinner at Maggiano’s was a casual affair celebrating not only their union the next day but also Becca’s birthday. On the wedding day at Carmel Lutheran Church, Kirsten Wray captured some particularly fun shots inside the sanctuary, with the holiday decor adding an extra festive flair. We especially loved Dan’s emotional reaction to seeing Becca walk down the aisle.

The reception followed at Marriott North, and the ballroom looked stunning thanks to decor by McNamara Florist. Wedding Entertainment Director, Jim Cerone, presided over the formalities and delivered one of the most packed dance floors from beginning to end that we’ve ever seen. (Thanks so much for the referral, Jim!)

All in all, this wedding was a fabulous way to end our 2010 shoots, and we wish Becca and Dan a lifetime of love and happiness. Cheers!

Tess and Thomas tied the knot in Tiler’s room at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. Their intimate wedding ceremony and reception in this room were lovely thanks to beautiful decor by McNamara and Thomas Caterers. We captured the couple’s “first look” indoors with photographer Andrew Scalini, and we also went outside for beautiful shots of the bride and groom.

Best wishes Tess and Tom. Here’s to a lifetime of love and happiness!

Viktoriya and Dinesh got married at the Indiana State House followed by a fun-filled reception at the Skyline Club. (Special thanks to the Skyline Club for the referral!)

After wearing a wedding dress for the intimate ceremony, Viktoriya changed into a traditional Indian sari for the reception. The evening featured a beautiful blend of Russian & Indian touches, outstanding decor by Mcnamara Florist, expertly mixed dance music by DJ Indiana Jones, a hilarious photo booth by Bowersock Photographers and our favorite touch – the “Masandtini” – made with cotton candy.

Best wishes Viktoriya and Dinesh!

Brianna and Alex had a beautiful wedding ceremony at North United Methodist Church followed by a lovely reception at the Skyline Club. (It’s always great to get a referral from a previous client, so thanks to Megan and Justin Carter for referring the couple to us!)

After covering the ceremony, we enjoyed working with photographer Matt Bowen while getting shots with the bridal party at Monument Circle.

The flowers were provided by McNamara, and the cake was created by Classic Cakes. The evening’s entertainment was high-energy thanks to the Keith Claghorn Band. Tons of fun dancing and singing ensued, complete with a father-daughter dance fakeout and sorority serenades.

Best wishes to the happy couple, Brianna and Alex!

In a year filled with “weddings of the year,” Ragan & Gary’s wedding and reception at the Scottish Rite Cathedral was definitely right up there, with a deeply spiritual ceremony, mind-blowing decor and an amazing couple who were sweet, humble, funny and charismatic all at the same time.  Coverage started at the rehearsal, where Gary surprised Ragan with a gift that had to be seen to be believed, followed by dinner with a view at the Skyline Club.

After preparations on the big day, everyone reconvened at the Scottish Rite, where the couple enjoyed a rare quiet moment together before some photo time with Andrew Scalini.  The gorgeous, intimate ceremony that followed in the theater probably did not prepare their guests for the extravagance that was to come, as Circle City Planners (who referred us – thanks, Darcie!), McNamara Florist, Evans Audio Visual, Thomas Catering and Heavenly Sweets all collaborated to transform the ballroom into a truly spectacular world never before seen in that elegant space.

Ragan & Gary had a memorable introduction to the reception along with the rest of their party, but saved their best entrance for after the early formalities, when they re-emerged with umbrellas and handkerchiefs to lead the guests in a French Quarter style “second line” parade.  There was one more surprise remaining for the guests, a stunning “hidden” lounge area featuring mouthwatering desserts and Indy Photo Booths‘ new “flipbook” setup, which Ragan & Gary used to hilarious effect.
